We treated ourselves to MOS Japanese Sweets and Desserts at Lot 1. Red bean paste, little rice balls, matcha icecream topped with toasted almond flakes which WL said it tastes like kuay ji and commented that it's so super sweet. Lol....toasted almond flakes become kuay ji. It ended up as my solo dessert.

Sunset Way Grill Out Steak & Peaberry & Pretzel Desserts last friday met my beloved primary school friend, Hui Ling and her bf Edwin for dinner at my office downstairs. They read the newspapers and other ppl's blogs on the new dining experience downstairs MY OFFICE, so they decided to come and try their tongues out on what was in offer. The evening ambience is really good wahaha! But the food is wahaha...I think I am a foodie person than ambience person though. Ok nvm, I shan't comment on the steak (which is ok la, really OK only la) and the wild king salmon (which is, a bit gooey and easily ended up in little salmon shreads all over the plate when you poke in the fork), shu yu shuo, eat liao I think we should go and have second round at Macdonalds. Alas, I do not have a chance to continue with a second round sadly, as I was roll called by Kopi Gang that night wahaha! Hui Ling and I almost slapped ourselves when the food came. Both of us were a "zao zhi dao, jiu order one spring chicken and wu ma fen shi the whole chicken sua!" attitude wahaha!

Went Botak Jones with Edwin they all to eat. Wah Piang! We ordered so so much food as if we kena yao dio! Just cannot tahan the auntie with super short (or should I say she shaved her head) hair who keeps going around telling people "Iced CLEMENTI jit puay! Dio bo? Confirm ah, DUN CHANGE LIAO AH!! ICED CLEMENTI JIT PUAY AH~~~" She has got a 4 mb worth of ram memory only. Please remember to know what drinks you want exactly before you call her and remember to tell her DIRECTLY AND CONFIRMED IT, else she will go screeching dam loud telling you what we have ordered!

Foody and Me

Slap Daniel! For the Nth time he appeared in front of me, he never fails to make feel as if I am doomed for another health attack. And for the Nth time, he was just this CLOSE to driving me to SGH. Slap him la! And I was just this CLOSE to not smsing him and telling him where to find us. But I did. Imagine if I didn't? Huh! I told him we were at Cineleisure but he drove to Suntec! Huh! Even before he appeared, he already made everyone chio gar peng. Lucky me sms him or else he might have to search whole Singapore. And lucky him he still knows how to call. Imagine what if HE DON'T KNOW HOW TO? And lucky me I kept the sent sms to him in the sent folder or else, I would be the QIAN GU ZUI REN.

As usual, when he appeared, Hui Zhang immediately threw a paper bag containing TWO BBQ CHICKEN WINGS at him. For what, he asked Hui Zhang. Hui Zhang immediately retorted, "Iya, 吃不完，给你吃." Daniel seethed with grumbles, "Cannot finish then ask me to eat la is it??! Huh!" To which Hui Zhang slapped him back with a "有得给你吃，你还 complain，没有得吃你才知道!"

"Ok lor, I CHECK see got expire liao or not first!" Daniel said unwillingly. Hui Zhang gin-ed him and turn back and continue opening her concert, one hand holding the remote control and choosing songs from the ktv machine but yet urging Daniel to dian ge and sing. *Hui Zhang! You hold the remote control how our silly Daniel sir going to dian ge and sing??*

Then, I never got to see the two chicken wings again. Dunoe if Daniel had eaten it or what, cos I never see the paper bag ever again around us, nor did we see him eat it up lay. Then, finally after a long wait, Daniel sir's turn to sing came. Then, I slowly rose to record as Hui Zhang started to sit down beside Daniel sir cos it's finally his turn after so long to deng chang! *You know why? Cos I kept seeing the screen flash "到底有谁能够告诉我" as the next song cos Daniel sir say he shall sing this for us to listen, but then the next song just never came. Other songs came instead leh.* So there I was, recording Daniel singing it. Then, wah lau, out of the sudden, a drink stirrer came lashing at me leh! Hui Zhang threw a drink stirrer at me! It hit me and then hit the floor! Hui Zhang, I never de zui you lay. Why you throw at me ha?

Then came more concert from Hui Zhang muahaha! Hui Zhang forbid him to talk nonsense and forbid me to read the newspapers! She say, Eh, 这个报纸是我买的，我有叫你看 meh? 你是来唱歌还是来看报纸的? I look at her, and then, I look at her again without a word (我是来唱歌 then 顺便看报纸啦！), But hor, Daniel sir kena from her when she questioned him he come here for what de, he tu her back and kena from her. So, muahaha of cos I diam diam la! Then, our silly Daniel sir slumped on the sofa and fall asleep and remained in "sub-concussed status" until....

Daniel: Hui Zhang!! 你可以不要 block 吗? I very the pei fu your bending skills, you have been blocking Fang's view for one and a half songs. Then, Hui Zhang turned and looked at him one glance and then looked back at the computer screen and continue choosing her songs to sing. As usual, Daniel got ignored by Hui Zhang la. Poor poor chap. Always kena buang into the glass door like that.

Then he saw me climb onto the sofa in an attempt to look over Hui Zhang's shoulders, he started to look at me in horror and said, before 你爬上 sofa hor, 你先去减肥先可以吗? So I almost killed him and tell him, 我已经减大约二十公斤了，你还要我减?? 我有一直在自动瘦 ok?

不知好歹的 Daniel Loh，有一天我会毒哑你的!

Then, came the best thing! Daniel forgot where he parked his car and went in search for his car! My goodness! Poor boy. Must be he earlier on concussed till he blur liao. Ok la, I forgive him for keep telling me to jian fei. Beat him beat him beat him! Hood him hood him hood him! Always suan me dunoe for what sia.

Hmm, I think hor, he blur is not bu xiao xin de la, is chang chang blur like sotong. But we just forgive him okies? Think he too hungry la. *Why everytime I see him ah, he always complain HUNGRY ah? 瘦的人就会常常饿吗?* So he suggested going to Kovan de Cha Can Ting to eat. He ah, talk until as if we know where he talking about like that. I not computer leh. Think I know what he talking about ma? Hood him la! But heng, I 天生聪明，有才必有用, I actually know which place he was talking about leh! Cos I happen to always go there. Then surprisingly, Hui Zhang, the masters holder hor, also knows where he is talking about leh, cos she said she always pass by there. Muahaha! So he was just this CLOSE to being hood on the head by me and Hui Zhang. He is always just this dam lucky! Duh!

Then as usual la, he irritate Hui Zhang as if it's his favorite past time la in the car. Then I dunoe say what and HEARTLESS Daniel Loh want to throw me down the car to take taxi home. Then Hui Zhang help him say 好话 and somemore sayang Daniel sir by patting his head and tell him, "You know, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HELP YOU, YOU KNOW?? I sayang you la!"

Then at the restaurant, I must stressed this like Shuqing. "I have been eating cooked eggs in the maggi mee in this Cha Can Ting until I feel dam depressed eating it." Why? Because I have been eating these many times and everytime I tell the person the egg in my maggi mee must be fully cooked, and no matter how many times I have said, the raw egg will just come in the maggi mee every time. -_-" Then then then, Hui Zhang pointed the vicks stick at Grace's nose while Daniel took out his tin of vicks. Faint. But even if I ever faint, there will be more than one bottle of vicks to revive me. Hahaha! As usual la, I think wherever we go, we went cam whoring and create such a din that we even almost bullied the waiter until I think they turned up the music to cover our noise? Poor waiter leh! Next time he saw us, I think he might just jitao put out the lights and the CLOSED sign on the door. Tsk. We are just chek ark. I got more stories but I write until a bit boring so hahaha someone else please continue the story ba. Till then, enjoy the food pictures again ya.

My Yi Han!

While we were eating breakfast the other day in Hong Kong, the shop owner splitted us into two separate tables. So HP, Daniel Sir and I ended up at another table far from Grace they all. So of cos, the food we ordered are different. They had MAN HAN QUAN XI while we had SIMPLE FARE. I remembered HP asked me what's that peanut sauce in the bottle for? Then we poured out some and tasted the peanut sauce. Not bad la. But it taste a bit plain to me. So I dipped in my you tiao into the peanut sauce. What a way to eat it lor. Then later HP asked me what's that you tiao with skin on it cos we saw the table behind us ate it. Frankly speaking, I dunoe also. Until, we left the shop and Grace they all come and ask if we had tried it! Argh! No chance to try leh we three poor things! Muahaha but nevermind I got the picture of it from Cheryl to satisfy my hunger pangs liao!

MCDULL QUARTERS!!

This afternoon I saw Cheryl's blog and immediately I thought of something else interesting to blog about.

Cheryl mentioned about Wendy busy discussing her proposal at McDull Quarters in Hong Kong to franchaise the stocks to Singapore cos Wendy bought a lot of McDull products to our astonishment. That immediately set my laugh accupoint tickling. I can't remember who exactly was the one who started making that remark, Daniel sir or Cheryl or HP? But after all the thoughts and eliminations, I think most likely it's Daniel sir say de. I dunoe y, but Daniel sir seems to be always having lots of 语不惊人死不休 de funny ideas and comments when he's tired. I should have snapped down HP and Daniel pik jia de photos. We did so much shopping that I think by then, HP and Daniel had both pik jia at the glass panels of MCDull Quarters. Practically pasted themselves at the glass panels is quite appropriate to describe. So we even sat down at the door step on the floor and rested our legs while Hui Zhang slowly trotted towards us, happily telling us she had went for some dessert and drinks. Huh! Then along the way, we saw many things which we felt we can bring back to Singapore to franchaise. I think we all went money crazy liao. I think we can consider seriously to franchaise something. Just like the Hong Kong Liang Mian which we saw at Mongkok Center. How how how? Shall we?

CLASSIC MOVIE!

I tell u all, this is so classic la! We took lots of photos but none are as funny as these classic shots which shows Daniel sir kept getting bullied by Hui Zhang! You see, you see, even take one photo also can kena one punch from Hui Zhang. But serves him right! Who ask him to always spoil people's photo!! Who ask him to be the second youngest? The most classic scenes ever of Hui Zhang but she just dun appear in the photos. But I post up she sure kill me, think let her remain behind the scenes better la. I more safe also. But you know hor, Hui Zhang constantly tortured him when asleep with hmm...u know what la hor people, and when awake he kept kena...can I say Hui Zhang kept punching him and somemore even lup him jit kar or not? Muahaha! That jit kar was lupped until super classic! I think of it, I think I can bang my fists on the table and laugh whole day! And that hair. Muahahaha! She even attempted to hood him! Then he is Grace's ban ban! (I asked Grace why she kept calling him ban ban, so she secretly told me it refers to male maid). Can I say we practically threw him down the bed by lupping him many kars? And by flipping up the whole mattress and threw him down onto the bed below?

And then, being the youngest, &@!Q!Y!*&^%$, I became Daniel sir's maid cos he got trashed by all the rest as they are older and fiercer! My poor big black bag, kena stuffed with his belongings while he carried a super small bag! %%^^&*^&%$%$%!!! But then nevermind, I got back my revenge also. I just simply stand beside him and never buy anything and never stop him from making further purchases and diam diam while he kept buying n buying! Buy and buy and buy! Until me and Grace look at each other and say, we didn't buy anything yet hor? I know I chek ark. Many of my friends told me they dare not go out with me cos I will hai them end up buy lots of things. But then hor, I never say good or no good leh the things they buy. I diam diam leh. But I think he really loves to buy things la. So hor, I never stop lor. Cheryl looked at the things he bought and she teased Daniel sir and says be his friend dam xing fu leh she also want! But Daniel sir say he will burn her whatever she wants, just tell him what she wants! 元宝蜡烛香!!

I think me and HP bought the least leh. Why lay? Cos Daniel sir buy more than us lor! I was itching to spend money cos I really felt "got money but nowhere to spend, nothing to buy" so I was thinking of buying this M and M chocolate tee shirt liao but then silly Daniel sir never do his Maths properly and dare me to wear an M size tshirt and say if I can fit into it, he will pay for it. AND, I OF COURSE GOT MY TSHIRT LA! FREE HOR! 20 sgd there it goes for Daniel sir..Then, when we went Giordano and I wanted to buy this pair of jeans, Grace stopped me! That pair of jeans went to HP cos it's a bit too loose at the bottom for me.

Grrr...so I patiently counted my miserable purchase of 2 days. It was a tube of facial wash which cost only 6 singapore dollars and which Daniel sir paid half for it, a dark blue sweater that costs only 5 singapore dollars! Argghh grrr....I think having money but nothing to buy is more miserable than having no money to buy. Because, when you cannot afford something, you auto give up buying without any hesitation. But yet, when you have got money n no chance to spend it, you will feel super ai wan (哀怨) like me!!! HP must have shared my sentiments deeply because she even threw me her wallet and ask me to use it to buy anything that I think suits her with that 400 bucks, SINGAPORE DOLLARS OH MY GOD!! So I grabbed her a few shirts to help her ease that ai wan (哀怨)feeling of not having anything interesting to buy muahaha! She told me I am dam fast when helping her grab a pair of shoes. She was just picking up a pair of blue sneakers when I came from behind her and say, eh take this take this! Suit your outfit! Muahaha, I guess, you never know how much relief you gets when you managed to spend away some of your money don't you??

I think I started to get desperate so I just dashed into a shoe shop and grab a pair of sneakers, paid for it and left within 5 minutes. And it costs me, 15 singapore dollars. Then, I used less than 5 minutes again to grab a bag and it costs me 18 singapore dollars and then and then, I grab 3 clothes brooches in less than 5 minutes again that costs errr...60 cents to 2 dollars singapore currency! Arggghh!! And on the last day, I chin chai bought 4 sweaters which costs like 20 sgd in total.

I dunoe if this is something good or bad. How about you tell me? I think food still suits me better. Hui Zhang was the 活宝!! Let's keep her in the house as 国家之宝!! Sorry I cannot stop laughing whenever I think back about what she did. Sorry ah sorry. Muahaha!

Hong Kong style Liang Mian 涼麵

I like Taiwan Liang Mian but I love Hong Kong's Liang Mian leh! Nice nice nice! Got many many types of ingredients for you to choose from and it's so cheap for 3 packets for just 5 HongKong Dollars (One packet of noodles, with 2 ingredients)! I choose japanese sesame seed seaweed, quail eggs, japanese octopus and chuka hotate (scallops skirtings) for my 4 packets of liang mian. Nice nice nice! They sell it at this Mongkok Center (旺角中心)!

Wah cannot tahan the nonstop shopping. I know we have got super limited time, but to cramp all the shopping in one day, it's really unforgettable memory leh! All shop till disappear so me and Daniel stand by the traffic junction and wait till hungry so we went to find food. First time I treat people dinner I almost get killed by Daniel cos he added so much salt to my soup until I ask him, "This one not salt meh?!!" The soup ended up so salty. How the hell can he actually drink finish it i wonder!

Morning Dim Sum Breakfast

Didn't managed to try all the dim sum. But we managed to have a delectable selection. The fresh prawns in the Chee Cheong Fun are really fresh and juicy and the Fresh Prawns wrapped in Beancurd Skin is delicious in chicken stock soup. The century egg pastry was good too. And of cos, my favorite, the chilled osanthamus cake which we ordered two servings! I rate it 3 out of 5 though because most of the dim sum taste quite okay only.

Pocky Biscuits from Hong Kong

I cannot believe after I have grabbed pocky biscuits from Taiwan, I ended up in Hong Kong to get more Pocky Biscuits. Enough of Pocky biscuits la. The range wasn't big. I only bought two boxes and finished it to my satisfaction.

Talking about the bottled 杨枝甘露, on the early hours of Monday morning, I heard Daniel screaming for me saying early morning he has got poisoned by people due to drinking an overdued bottle of 杨枝甘露. I offered him my dark chocolate milk, telling him IT WILL NEUTRALISED HIS POISON! Actually I anyhow say de la. Lucky it wasn't me who poisoned him. Cos mine expires much later. He suay la. I did anything and everything except MURDER! Me and HP gobbled up the dark chocolate milk. Nice!

Curry Fish Balls

I finally had my ka li yu dan! But nothing that special. I think I go and poke a few fishballs and dip in the curry sauce for half a day also nicer. The fishballs are so freaking hard. Worse than the fire balls Jimmy bought for me and Han Wei from Old Chang Kee leh. At least the fire balls are so much nicer, just that it's so big that I had to bite it in some bites and I took a longer time to finish it!

A Trip to Hong Kong Part 3

Our first dinner in Hong Kong! Grace ordered all the different sets of food to share. Muahaha, the surprise came when the food was delivered to us. Seriously, never did we know it consists of three types of rice and three types of noodles. And the rice and noodles looked THE SAME when it came. Just that it contains different ingredients in each dish. Then, while eating, Daniel suddenly commented that, "别人以为我们只有钱吃饭吃面，没有钱吃菜!" Seriously, I shared his sentiments. I think everyone does. Muahaha! Look at the pictures and you will know what I am talking about!

A Trip to Hong Kong Part 2

Hehehe! I travelled Singapore Airlines again! Daniel treated us to a late lunch at the HK cafe at the airport! End up quite full and yeah, as usual, I end up standing at the security check drinking one whole bottle of water before they allowed me to pass the waiting area. And as usual, we went in ONE HOUR 10 MINUTES ahead of our scheduled flight and yet the announcement for gate closing still came when we pass the custom. But the lucky part was that this time I needn't run at all. I still can happily take my own sweet time to go toilet muahaha! Tsk tsk, these days, I cannot afford to run or walk too fast, if not the inhaler will be right inside my mouth again. I am refusing to use the inhaler too much cos doc gave me more than one type of inhaler. I simply hate the feeling of oxygen overdose, as I told Wei many times before, put so much no hey gu also will kena hey gu la.

I really dunoe what the hell Pat was watching on the screen, but Daniel was apparently wondering what happen the way she laughed. Me too. So I ended up peeping over Pat's shoulder to see whatever it was that made her laugh out so loud. Daniel, Wei and me watched this Korean movie which made us laugh too. Old lady and Old man exchanging hilarious lines the way they talked. You know how those korean actors and actress "kill" each other with their squabbles don't you? It's called UNSTOPPABLE MARRIAGE. Go go go go watch it yourself. I got so bored with the meals that I layered the biscuits and split up the bread roll on the food tray and spread it slowly with cheese, butter, and layer it with the ham and pasta salad appetiser. But it made me feel more full than ever. We had chicken with roasted potatoes and vegetables with some nice sauce drizzled over it. And I got an extra piece of chicken and half a cup of icecream from the person next to me. Well, u see ah, for the sake of that person's health, I am doing a good deed by eating up the "unable to finish" portion of food leh! Muahaha! ARGGHH! Do I even looked like I am that hungry?

超級麻辣﹐ 小辣 liang mian with miso soup to get rid of the spiciness of the liang mian (Reminds me of the last time I vomitted the whole bath-tub and toilet bowl cos of the chao ji ma la liang mian competition), grilled mushrooms, grilled chicken meat, curried fishballs with wasabi powder, mango ice, smelly tofu, 紅油抄手, 豪大大雞排, peppered 烤鳥蛋 with a dash of 甜不辣醬, freshly squeezed cranberry juice...hmm what else had we not eaten lay? We cracked up a lot of jokes with alice around hahaha. She was buying a cup of passion fruit juice when suddenly the cup of passion fruit juice that was placed on top of the whole container of juice, MADE ITS WAY into the container!! Wahaha! 慘咯! 慘咯! TAKOR cuttlefish sells at NT100 per packet and comes along with different flavors of powder like wasabi, seaweed, seven-flavor powder, chilli, pepper and curry! Bought at least 14 packets of cuttlefish, out of which I bought 6 packets cos my idiotic sister bought so many packets of it during her last trip and threaten me to buy it for her. All these cuttlefish are freshly grilled and then stripped into thin strips, some original grilled flavor and it even comes in frozen cheese flavor! Just pour some seaweed or wasabi or chilli powder n mix it together and tada! Got eat before the macdonalds shake shake seaweed fries bo? It's the same concept lor! I wonder Singapore where got sell those seaweed and wasabi powder. If you all know hor, let me know hor. These cuttlefish hor can make you dam gian one leh.

Places like airport la, museums la, got free water dispenser de leh. I very thirsty lor. So I went to get some water to drink. Then hor you see what I discovered on the paper leaflet cup? After the typhoon, we saw squirrels running about in the trees and bushes and uprooted trees lying around within the park at the 中正紀念堂. I din know there's a park behind the ji nian tang leh. This alice dam funny, she can take photos with us and then still talk on the phone saying i love u i love u i love u dear. Wahaha! Got photo as evidence de leh. See see see.

A different side of Taipei

Actually hor, other than taiwan xiao chi, actually alot of food places are quite interesting de leh. Like the food below lor. Go Taipei so many times le, go night markets see and eat de things hor, actually very alike de lor. Eat liao like got a bit sian of it lor.

I can find these food is actually first time I went with sis hor, we two goon dus walked for nine mrt stations thanks to xiao long bao and ding tai feng lor. Walk up down up down the streets hor, but can't find the ding tai feng at all lor. So walk walk walk saw this DANTE cafe. Their 意大利面 is just called 面. And I just loved their salad lor. The first time I went with sis, really super super stupid lor. Dunoe how to put out the hands and flag for a taxi and ask the driver bring us to ding tai feng. hahaha. Walk many many mrt stations then happen to chance upon the IKARI COFFEE CAFE and DANTE CAFE lor. That day walk with jimmy, alice and wei, alice say she hungry want to have some food after we went look look at the 中正紀念堂, so I remembered this DANTE cafe across the streets where the super famous INTERNATIONAL WEDDING STREETS are lor. Last time the International Wedding Streets outside those bridal houses hor, got many little swings and little cars like those in the PS BU BU restaurant leh. Hahaha whole street only two cafes so we just go into DANTE which is further down the stretch of wedding streets. The international wedding street hor, really is u walk down there, you got a 忙裡偷閑 kind of feel de leh. Got chance you all go try try la. Quiet quiet de. Hahaha! Anywae I find it dam funny la, I always read those 小說, got those female lead can walk walk only then find themselves outside the wedding shops de. Wahaha these wedding shop streets so quiet hor, not popularised by people de hor, I dunoe why got those female leads in the shows and stories hor like to go there de leh. Of course I know also got other wedding shops around other areas la. But hor, i just find it super buay tally lor in real life hahaha. Stories are bluff one la.

Anyway, talk about our lunch at DANTE, I want to say I dun believe in eating salads to slim down de la cos I find it bullshit la. But hor, I got eat salad one. Did you see the little bowl of salad in my hands? They use japanese sweet salad sauce leh. Wah lau seriously lor, since when did you ever see salad places use japanese sweet sauce in their salad lor? Always use those thousand island la, what red island, blue island sauce or vinegar. These sauces are alienic to me I think. Those sauces actually I feel hor, is very boring lor. To me hor, eat salad, either you eat the cai just plain or you just make it a little sweet with the japanese salad sauce lor or else eat for what. The brown colored iced drink jimmy and wei is drinking hor, is actually a super nice plum drink lor.

Hahaha everytime we one big group, have to eat cheaper food like xiao chi lor, we never had a chance to eat all these Taiwanese 道地 "cafe" food lor. So its really a very good experience to go into one of these kind of cafe and sit down and order some food, flip through some magazines on their tables, you can really feel the kind of life these taiwanese people have lor. Slow slow de, very relaxed pace lor. And hor, although we can eat italian and western food anytime in Singapore hor, but hor I think Taiwan de version somehow nicer leh. Hahaha..got 家的味道 one leh. Their drinks also very different lor, got packeted and bottled yakult, 奶茶﹐ 杏仁茶﹐ 玫瑰茶﹐ 醺衣草茶﹐ 金桔茶﹐ 金橘茶﹐ 巧克力奶茶﹐巧克力布丁奶茶 as their daily drinks de leh. Think to us hor, we just too HEALTHY le. They somemore got desserts like 新鮮牛奶布丁﹐ 礁糖布丁 at their 7-11 and convenience stores and supermarkets lor. Somemore very fresh de taste de leh.

I think Taiwanese people are just born creative. Hahaha! Our Singapore food too modernised lor. You dun feel so 1 meh? Their 7-11 stores are just 神奇 lor. Maybe you will ask me why their 7-11 stores so facinates me lor, think you must really go inside then you will understand what I talking about.

Hahaha I post so much hor? Cos we a bit sian and cannot sleep lor, so we dragged alice to the min ge can ting at xi men ding. It's called Mu Ji Ta (木吉他) which I got post the picture of the staircase leading to the min ge can ting n its signboard lor. Anywae there is this big size guy who seems very shy n we all thought y he black face. But actually maybe he shy lor. Cos we dunoe what kind of songs he noe how to sing and plus when he start hor, he sing very old song leh. So we wrote all sorts of songs titles and pass it to him. We thought maybe hor cos the previous singer not sing very nice lor, but we wrong leh. He sing dam well. Hahaha...really very good and somemore he can sing songs like Zhang Dong Liang's cuo le zai cuo and Landy Wen Lan's sha gua. Wah lau new songs leh. His vocals also quite wide range de lor. Low also can, high also can. Good! He doesn't lose to lian 1 leh. We actually wanna go back after he sing two songs cos whole restaurant left us only. Cos its already 1 am plus in the morning leh. But in the end we end up listening till around 2 am. We have been there since 11 pm lor. Wahahaha. And very funny lor, we listen until bu she de zou. Somemore can sit at the staircase and listen cos they got attached this big speaker at the staircase lor so everyone along the road side can listen. Who is he ah? Hahahaha you all go find out yourselves lor see who sing at that timing lor. This person got quite a lot of 档期 de lor hahaha....the cafe name already tell u all liao. We go back hotel still can watch tv leh. Cos hor, next day is typhoon going into big scale le. So we never think where to go. Hahaha...

Taipei's MOS Burger a bit different from Singapore de leh. This is our 4th round of food in the day hor after we had our dinner at food court, snacks and drinks, donuts! One thing interesting about it hor is that they sell mango mousse but they called it tiramisu leh. Cos the texture I eat liao it just feels like mousse with mango flavor lor. Hahaha donuts! donuts! I see donuts I very scared man. Dare not eat too much man. Cos last time stay in america that time we almost everyday eat bagels and donuts. Their donuts also like that got many many flavors de leh. See donuts I 简直 is buay tahan. Even for someone who likes butter hor, I also dare not eat cos of the jam and buttery smells. Super strong in donuts, dunoe y lay. But a little bit is ok la. I still prefer the 原汁原味 de those kind that you roll in the sugar de donuts lay. Anyway we just anyhow buy 3 to eat lor, cos we had a full meal and drank so much almond tea le. The green little bites you see here hor is donuts dusted in green tea powder lor. It tastes very nice lor and super soft beyond imagination whahaha. Hmmm the strawberry coated donut was a big mistake. Yucks! The coating just taste lousy. You bite a bit only then the strawberry chocolate coating drop liao. The other one that is slightly dusted with icing is nice also. It's aloe vera and lime jam flavor de. The texture of the cream hor is the same as you know the yoke ko (nose rub vicks brands) those kind of a bit gluey de. Dun be frightened of my description la. It's really nice de la.

Hahahaha after we had our dinner, we went to look for almond tea at the 7-11 which is beside the foodcourt hahaha. Wah you see the toy which I redeemed with the 7-11 stickers I got. U know hor, taipei de 7-11 very cute de leh. When you buy to a certain price like NT50 or NT77 or whatever value hor, they will give u a sticker or a coupon to exchange for collectors' item de leh. Previously was hello kitty and doraemon. I got almost whole set wor. This time round is the xing guang bang disney characters lor. Apparently jimmy they all dun want the toy lor so they all give me the stickers they had and I go and exchanged for a toy lor wahhaha cos I ask who want, they say NOOOO!! The 3 people photo nice ma? Wei sit there machiam like boss, or pai guang gao (advertisement shoot like that).

Taiwanese Styled Spaghetti, Crispy Chilli-ed Chicken Cutlet Set with rice and Tuna Onion flavored French Crepes

At the time of my posting hor, this pictures only shows till our dinner time leh. I remember last year June I went Taipei that time hor, we only bought one set of the big hotplate taiwanese styled chicken spaghetti set leh. That time hor, was shared by 7 people lor. Can imagine that time we all only one person one mouth I think. This time round 4 people only we can kope more mouthfuls of the noodles. Hehehe. This chicken sphagetti hor is actually use udon to make de and then they stir fry it in tomato pepper sauce. It's like self-served tepanyaki lor. Hehehe..

We also had the crispy fried chicken cutlet tepanyaki-like style with bean sprouts. The chicken not bad lor, super crispy and the person recommend that time say is very spicy and is got chilli powder de leh but I dun taste any spiciness lor. But then hor, even if got chilli powder on it hor, my tongue maybe also cannot taste la. Sometimes people say spicy de things I find it ok, sometimes people say not spicy de, I will find it dam hot. Hahahaha I know! Maybe this is what Jason told me the other day. When he feels the weather hot, Cynthia will not be hot. Always opposite! I think hor I am just a weird person, always doing the opposite of others also. Oh ya and the soup is served with that dunoe korean or japanese seaweed soup de. The chicken sphagetti and fried chicken cutlet costs only like 8 plus each set for the whole set complete with drinks lor. If you all interested hor, you all get these at the foodcourt at the basement of the New York New York shopping center lor. The two stalls that sell these are side by side de, somewhere in the middle of the foodcourt lor.

I think I love tuna with onions alot leh. Hahahaha I also order this tuna and onion salad flavor de french crepes for all of us to share for dinner. Wah dam nice lor the taste. Lots of mayonaise as well. How come we can hardly find such nice food around in Singapore lay? Can someone make for me to eat ah?

Hehehe...look faster see see! wah lau what a huge bowl of beef noodles lor! This bowl of beef noodles if real hor, dunoe let 10 people eat can finish bo? You all remember ajisen ramen they got these big ang gong outside their restaurant holding a huge bowl? This bowl is super super big, maybe got at least 5-6 times bigger ba. You see alice stand beside it you know le. The chopsticks hanging in the air without any strings to hold it looks dam cute until I cannot tahan so I took a picture of it. While we all posing for pictures hor, got people finish eating le come out hor, go n touch the fake beef inside the big bowl leh! Unfortunately they happened to be snapped inside one of the pictures lor. But no la, I won't so mei you dao de go n put it up here and tell you how they touched it.

And look at that wear blue blue de mannequin. Doesn't it look like alice's twin? Hehehe...

Oh ya, you all got heard before about this blind singer from taiwan, Xiao Huang Qi, who sang the song, Ni Shi Wo De Yan (你是我的眼) right? Wah he got sing at the min ge can ting and pub also de leh. Here I was walking trying super hard to go against the typhoon when hor I caught this big big banner of him while walking towards New York New York shopping center de bridge from Taipei 101. Not really able to walk lor suddenly cos of sudden super strong wind, so okay la, me and alice just stand there n took a picture of it. His image looks not bad hor? Like got rocker style leh. Of all the advertisement huge banners I saw, the one with his picture on it I like most liao.

Yum yum shop shop snap snap dam interesting de man! I always like to go to Taipei's supermarkets and 7-11 because there r always dam intetesting tidbits, drinks and food available. Like the pocky biscuits, actually can have cater for men de leh. See the green colored packaging for the pocky biscuits. Wahaha but I didn't buy lor, cos dun have for ladies lay, Hehehehe..actually no la, its cos Wei say in Singapore can buy la. But I never see it around lor. Maybe must go find it at West Mall lor. Cos I remember HW bought some tiramisu flavored de pocky biscuits from one of the food shows lor. But seriously speaking, I actually prefer the normal strawberry and chocolate pocky sticks. Nicer lor. I got buy and try the green tea and tiramisu flavor de but it just taste too rich and creamy even for someone who quite okay with creamy stuff leh. Eat liao somemore you feel like wanting to drink more water one.

The row of cocoa percentage de chocolate reminds me of the time when I tried the 99% chocolate hahaha. It's super super super bitter but still eatable although I dislike the taste lor. Maybe you all when free make kopi that time hor, u all can break a small piece and melt it in the kopi itself and try. I tried before la. Not too bad the taste just that the kopi turned bitter lor hahaha. But the chocolate must be super super soft until a bit watery and then u put in with the kopi powder with super hot water.

Taipei supermarket also got sell different flavors of latte de leh. Although latte nowadaes is have a lot of flavors la, but you can hardly find them in Singapore lor. Not as high quantity until ntuc or cold storage can find. Still got almond latte. Hahaha which I didn't buy in the end. Like the green tea latte I snap here by the brand of Maxim. Hehehe taste nice leh. Can you imagine hot latte with green tea flavor? Not so like those frappacino that just add green tea powder lor.

One thing I really like about their supermarkets and convenience stores are the kinds of drinks they have on the shelves. They sell it over there as if everyday drink leh. Unlike ours which are all the healthy fruit juices, etc. Even their puddings also got milk flavors de leh. So actually hor, I go Taipei I not go shopping for clothes and accessories. I enjoyed shopping the most in their 7-11, hi-life stores and family mart. Many many interesting things to see de, like the food's packaging la, the kinds of drinks they have la, the kind of food they have la..n alot more. Compared to them, our country de really really super limited leh. Their 7-11 not like convenient stores but like shopping centers wahaha. Although I have never go Japan before la, but I guess taiwan food is mainly from Japan de leh. See, even taiwan also more modern than us than in terms of food. Like their che lun bing hor, Singapore de very mei you chuang yi leh. Only got cheese, ang dao, peanut, chocolate, blueberry and strawberry like that de. Theirs still got onion n tuna flavoring, chicken and onions flavoring, green tea red bean, green tea vanilla pudding and more. Hehehehe if you all got read my previous postings on che lun bings and see the pictures, you will know how interesting their flavors are le hor?

Hmm..see all our taipei shopping stuff in just 2 hours? We go supermarket hor is not buy ingredients to cook leh, is buy back all the pocky biscuits leh wahaha. You all got watch the movie "The maid" or not? As the pictures show, dang dang dang dang! The maid. But this maid is not scary de. Instead he helps us carry all our barang barang whenever we go shopping! Wahahaha! Lucky he not really throw all our things into the dustbin as shown here leh. Kudos to the "maid" hahahaha...

See all the pocky sticks! we swept them all. And we paid NT1800 (around sgd 90 plus lor) for all the pocky sticks!! Hahahha...And she went, so children, what you want for dinner tonight? We discovered a super big fish man! That fish must have cost at least 20 over bucks in Singapore, but it was dam cheap in Taipei leh. Hmm...next time we go shopping for grocery in Taipei okies?

Alice was so hyped up about this chopper massage that she went to snap at it! Wonder is it pain or not hor?

I think hor, Singapore's yoshinoya can never compete with Taiwan de lor. Cos for one, the utensils and food boxes already lose to Taiwan de liao lor. And also, the Taiwan's version taste very nice also. Just like you go japanese restaurant can get de lor. And hor I noticed that Taiwanese loved korean pao cai and their own version's suan cai leh. Cos smelly tofu la, hong you cao shou la, even yoshinoya de food la, all got suan cai. It's practically like korea food must have kim chi and they must have suan cai lor. hmm..singapore lay? Dao gei? or Ko Lay Cai? Their yoghurt drink also not bad lor. It tastes like the low fat and less thick version of yakult lor and got a very nice name called "ke er mi si" (可爾密思).

After eating so much at the Shih Lin Night Market, we went back to hotel n had our supper of Heinekken Beer and Spicy Beef Noodles! Wahaha..no la, beer never drink la. But spicy beef noodles got eat la. And sushi from 7-11! The sushi there are very special lor not only cos they are triangular but also cos got scallops flavor de, got american lobster salad flavor de, got tuna flavor de, got ba hu flavor de and many more. Very interesting de lor. Cos, you just cannot get them in Singapore's 7-11 lor! I want to migrate there liao!
